What would be the best shocks to use on an IFS setup with a 5" lift?

UNBREAKABLE

torch it out....put a solid axle in its place and run bilstein's
That's how I roll

Haha, believe me, I want to.

But seriously now....

It probably won't make a big difference what brand shock you run.  Any cheap parts house brand more than likely won't have extended lengths, so it'll probably have to be rancho or some other suspension manufacturer's shocks.  They do make bilstiens for IFS, i'm just not sure if they do in the extended length.  The real question is if you do want to do a SAS and it will be a sure thing, but sometime in the future, don't spend a butt load on ifs shocks now.  Just get the least expensive ones and call it good.

actually, if you pull a shock off and measure the ext and comp lengths, we @ NAPA can go by size and get some shitter monroes for you if ya want...just gotta know your  lengths and mounting types...which are listed in the catalog...Iknow for a fact Monroe makes fronts that will work with a 4 inch, cuz I run 'em!

Problem is my one shock somehow got slammed against something and tore open, then the mount broke.  So i need shocks.  SAS would be nice, but I'm broke, and don't have anything else to drive while doing the sas.

Yeah, but I don't know if my Superlift shocks are the correct size for my lift.  I mean they came with the kit, but it doesn't feel like I have any shocks.
