BLACKWIDOW

Hello, I'm Victoria, also from Anchorage Alaska, well temporaily, headed back to Washington end o'Aug. Just checking in per the rules, well part of the rules. As soon as I hit enter, I am diving for cover....no pic. No worries tho, other than Ranchos, the Black Widow is stock '99 3.4. Color the photo of the 4Runner hung up on the gas pump barricades black and there ya go. But she does have either a future or a brother.

Work for Toyota, driven Toyota since '75. 2 Celicas, 22RE 'Runner, 22RE '92 p/u, 3.L p/u, etc. Your web site has a wealth of information, lots of helpful and knowledgeable people and lots of pictures, too. Marlin is the 'Gold Standard" for Toyota wheeling info. May be pickin' a brain or two in the future.

Different wheelin' in the Lower 48 compared to Alaska, can't wait to see sagebrush and pine trees again.
Again, thanks to all for a great site.

Hey thanks for the welcome WT. Came up from E wa in '01. Sold house in Pateros, north of Wenatchee, last month and my stuff is in storage in Woodinville near my mom's place. So will fort up in Woodinville to start. Will spend some time in E Wa visiting friends(read fishing)  then down to Flagstaff to check area and visit sis. To be honest....no idea where I will land...all options open at this time. Plan to be back in Woodinville poss end o' Oct. Would like to end up in Mont. but I think economy is still a little shakey. Maybe do a little networking with friends at PDC in Portland.

I'm comfortable on either side of the 'Cedar Curtain' and always up for a road trip :driving:  but prefer sagebrush and pine trees...we'll see. And of course will have to factor in a.....JOB.

Question for ya tho, having been outta the loop for the past 4 years, is Wa issued concelaed weapons permit valid in other states? Traveling alone and I want a level playing field if I step on a rattler during a hike.

So there is the 'no plan'.
Take a deep seat and hang on!
