even if you find one, you won't be able to gear it for a few months.

every supplier has been backordered on all V6 and HP gear sets for months now, and there is no ETA on the HP gears.

I have a high pinion front and have been waiting for 5.29 gears for about 2.5 months now. I hear that they may be available in Aug.

Hopefully..

I called inchworm, they said that they do have some hypinion 5.29's in stock but they will not sell them alone. But they are more than happy to assemble a complete hypinion third with them.
I would have to agree with crawlerdan on this one.

seems like simple buisness to me.. the gears are in high demand  if you were inchworm which would you rather do ? sell the gears alone or make more money by selling a complete setup ?  makes sense to me.  no need to bash inchworm because they wouldnt sell you a gearset  because they wanted to make more money on a high demand item   ::)  :shake:

other companies like Randy's, are in business to make money, as well as everybody else, but they also strive to make relationships with customers, thats the difference between inchworm and some of the other company's out there, they are trying to capitalise on the situation while sacrificing the ties to customers that i think is often far more important. no bashing here, i just really think that the way they do things is wrong, or :stopit: if you will, I'm not one to bash other wheelers, but Ive always believed in helping out a fellow wheeler, thats all

Sounds like they lost a gear set sale to me plus future purchases - why call them back if they won't help out?
So now they have to wait until someone wants the whole 3rd and by then gear sets will become available again  :shake:
I've never called them before and if this is their way of business, then I doubt I ever will - besides why? just call Marlin.

Is China taking all our resources on 5.29's too

Good and bad news, I have a set of HP 5.29 gears coming!!!  The bad news, they are O.E. made in Japan gears that cost $280!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   All Pro has 15 sets of these gears!  So if you really need a set like I did, you are going to pay a pretty penny for them.
