new guy with a 83 yota

Hey whats up, my name is Luigi. I'm from Seattle Washington. I just bought a 83 pickup, with 170k on the speedo and 50k on the motor. The one down side is it has alot of cancer, but i have already taken care of most of that with hours on hours of sanding.

If you are uploading from your computer just click on the "Additional Options..." icon that is at the bottom of the Post repy screen.  You then will click on the "Browse..." button and find the image you want to post, high-lite it and click open.

well this is one of my truck after i had started the primer. My camera is mia for the time, so most of the pics are kinda shady because i took them with my phone. But it gets the job done.

yea i have to put in a new bed. i just bought it about a week ago and th bed has about a 2ft hole in it form cancer, i was able to save most of the sides but i don't know about the floor.

yea i dont know how it got it, think it might have sat for a while. I bought it from a guy in federal way, he sold it to me for 2k. The rust is really the only problem, but a pain in the rear.

Federal Way, yes really. Has a 22RE that needs the wiring done to run. Guy had too many projects and not enough time.

So i have been talking to a few people and there telling me for a lift that i should go Chevy in the rear and land cruiser in the front, they told me i would get allot of flex. Does anyone know more about this, like what kind, or year.

no see i ask because it is you that told me. and i still like jeeps, just not comparable to Yoda. Think about it wheelin isn't fun unless you can laugh at some one for getting stuck, told you jeeps are good for something

Welcome aboard,  do your self a favor and put anything EXCEPT chevies in the rear of that truck.  I could go on for an hour about how much they suck nutz but Ill digress.
