20R or 22R???

Is there any to distinguish between a 20R and 22R?  What should I look for?  (other than the sticker on the valvecover)

20R head has round intake ports, a 22R has square  intake ports.

on the driver's side of the block down below where the power steering pump goes, there's a little machined spot with "20R" or "22R" stamped on it
