I am trying to locate a true CA Smog Legal header for a 1979 20R any suggestions?

Thorley makes one....call summit

drill a regular header for a bung to mount egt probe...if you have one.   :dunno:
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I have a downey header and exhust system on my 83 with a 22r. Its 50 state legal.

downey, lc engineering, thorley, and pacesetter make smog legal headers for all 20r motors, sometimes you have to call the company and specify though, they may not advertise it :thumbs:

20R and early 22R are the same when it comes to a header.

Got my smog legal header from Downey Off-Road complete with the exemption sticker that you put in the door for the smog tech..... or should I say my club president did when he owned my truck.
