Put a pressure plate bolt back in with a length of chain around it and attach the other end of the chain to a leaf spring or the frame etc. The chain will keep the engine from turning over.
Wanna know how to get the pilot bearing out with no special tools? Im just full of hillbilly tech these days.
6" long 3/8s drive extension wrapped in electrical tape, grease and a hammer. I just fill the cavity behind the pilot bearing with grease and shove the extension intot he cavity and hammer on it till the grease pushes the bearing out. Hydraulic pressure is a wonderfull thing sometimes...
