84 Toy Truck/Rolled/Drives/engine fine/Sonoma County CA
« on: May 18, 2005, 10:15:49 PM »
1984 Toyota pickup sr5, extended cab, 22r engine, carborated, no smog stuff, 5 speed, long bed, bucket seats, Rims, slightly oversized tires. Matching shell with racks, pop up sun roof, and yes that front end you all luv...

My son rolled it and broke the lid hinge on the storage compartment between the seats.   :smack:  Interior cloth, carpet, seats worn out.   Huge dent in front left fender, dings and dents all over from rolling,  rust in bed. Roll cracked part of the fiberglass near top right corner of the lift up window frame of the matching High Rise Shell but it may be repairable, amazingly the glass is still intact except for prior damage and repair in front cab window of the shell.

Bought for my son from original owner a good friend, as well as his mechanic. New rear end in 95. Engine replaced in 90 with 36k engine from a wrecked body. Take 100k off odometer 206500 is actual miliage. Still drives pretty good but not really street legal from the roll damage. Engine runs fine. Registration is not current and son is not going to have it repaired. Have all the paperwork. Great Parts Truck or a Project. Will negotiate price or will consider trade negotiation for running and legal old toyota truck 2wd.

Truck currently resides in Jenner 2 hours north of San Francisco.

The Truck and all parts go as one package. I have a chick truck and don't want another project. But plenty of parts runs fine.

I think the door problem has something to do with that dent right behind the drivers door and the dent at the exterior door handle and lock.

You trying to talk me into keeping it? Could happen. Then I would be looking for parts...I do want another with a 22r, possibly 2wd though.
