914Runner

Hello all, I am wanting to run the rubicon this summer with my dad and then hopefully make it to the Marlin get together in September. So I was wondering what else to do to our 4Runner?

To see what the rig has right now, please look at my sig. But here is what else I was thinking:

- Rear E-locker
- 1.5" BJ (Ball Joint) spacers
- FJ-80 rear springs
- Rock sliders (bolt on)
- 33" tires
- Custom rear bumper
- Custom rear shock setup with 12" or 14" travel 5100 Bilsteins
- Custom front HD skid plate

Would this be enough to get me through the Rubicon? What else would you suggest?

Thanks

You would be suprised what can make it through the con. Put it this way, every time Jeep comes out with a new model, they run it STOCK through the Rubicon. However, they also tend to do some trimming on the grand cherokees and libertys and they do incur some rock rash. there are bypasses for several of the tougher obstacles. Rock sliders are a must, the rear locker will help you out a lot. If your not afraid to scratch her I would say go for it!
