Hey guy's
A friend just brought me his 94 v6  runner and is having tranny problems. It's difficult to shift into 3rd and 4th. If you use slight pressure when shifting, it will only go partially into 3rd and 4th gear and pop out. (No grinding). But if you use hard pressure it will shift into 3rd and 4th fine. The pressure exerted seems way more than it should be.  Anybody have any ideas.
I have a tranny out of a 93 4cyl truck, will this work for a swap? Bellhousing, t-case, crossmember, shifters ect?
I dont want to tear his tranny out and find that the one I have wont work.

Thanks in advance
Dennis
