Best Tranny/T-Case
« on: May 12, 2005, 01:21:55 PM »
im sure this has been beat to death but i did a search and couldn't find it.....

so from what i understand the R151F 5spd tranny and 23-spline gear driven transfer case is the best/most durable setup you can have for your Yota?

I plan on doing a Chevy V8 swap and I want to start looking for a tranny now. I want to stay manual instead of swaping in a Chevy TH350.

R151 is the strongest and should be okay unless you really pump the v8 up
