Will Skyjackers Fit?

I just bought a set of 3 in. lift front leaf springs for my '84 toyota pickup, they were originally for an '81 ppickup. Will they fit? The reason I am asking is because I went to NAPA this morning to get bushings and they said they could only get bushings up to 83...What changed in 84? (they are only temporary I will be getting Alcans this summer when I have enough money)

Yes.    They'll work fine, all '79 - '85 front springs are the same. The rear springs on '84 up uses a bushing with a steel insert on one end , where as '83 down uses solid rubber bushings on both ends. The front springs ALL use solid rubber bushing on both ends.

also, What should i do for shocks? can I run stock shocks for alittle while(not long)?I'll probably go without shock until i can afford them....I wont be doing any wheeling until i get them, but how long of ones should i get? I want bilstien 5125

If your old shocks will fit,,run them till you get new ones,,no shocks sucks on the road,,just don't wheel it..

as far as shocks go polys big black c0ck shocks are aweseon,,

bilstiens,,or some adjustable rachos or just an adjustable shock in any brand would be a good start..

This sounds really bad but Ill be getting a set of them big black cawk shocks.....  They are valved and designed from the ground up to go on a leaf sprung toyota.  Hell I just build my hoops in the rear and set the bumpstops especially for their length.....
