converting a 2wd automatic cab to standard

I found a 2wd 88 reg cab in awsome shape floors have no rust whatsoever it just needs a passenger side fender. They only want $200 for it with the EFI parts and gas tank too. The only issue it's a automatic cab with a column shifter.
I was thinking about buying it to swap out for my cab but the issue is how hard would it be to convert the automatic cab to standard?

Anyone have experience doing this is it worth it or should I hold out for a standard one in good shape?

grab yer fav cutter of choice and cut a hole in the floor..  i run a 2wd std cab on my 4wd and i just cut out the shifter hole more

If you want the hole to match all exact like, cut part of the tunnel off the old cab, lay it over the 2wd tunnel, and trace the shape of the shifter hole!
I recoment a cutting wheel or jigsaw for a nice clean cut.
