American Thunder NASCAR to Le Mans on Prime is worth watching if you're a race fan.  I knew that the car had raced, but didn't understand the context of Garage 56.  I knew that the sound of the car got people's attention, but not that they won the pit crew competition while being the only team using a manual jack.

First test drive with the '68 went pretty well, needs some carb tuning but once it's in the power band whoa buddy. Pretty hot 409ci SBC, need to finish the break-in miles before I really beat on it.

I had the opportunity to do an Xtreme Xperience this past Friday where I went for a ride around Pacific Raceways in the Seattle area in a Dodge Charger Hellcat and then drove a Lamborghini Huracan and a Ferrari 488 GTB. What a cool experience.  Three laps in each car wasn't nearly enough and felt like I was just starting to develop some comfort near the end of the second drive. I really underestimated by capability relative to the others. The second instructor was very complimentary during my drive and kept encouraging me to push a little bit more on each successive lap. At the end he told me that I had given him his fastest ride of the day.  After watching some others before we left and now watching some videos online, I think that it's likely that he wasn't just pumping my tires.

Rich. Appreciate your concerns. Been fighting, what i think is a pinched nerve or torn muscle in my left shoulder. Been tuff going last 3 weeks. Had a close call with wildfire. .75 miles as the crow flies to the house. Also had septic problem. Which required accessing lids. Bit of shoveling that my shoulder wasn't really up to the task.. also.. the new site isn't very user friendly for me. Hard to post pics. It kinda forced me to spend less time on my phone in general. Which is a good thing.. how's everything at the salt mine..

Good to hear from you Dave.  Sucks to hear about yer shoulder. I need to see orthopedic people and get checked out myself; shoulders, knees, ect been too long and there isn't a good time to go on light duty and put my squad short. Glad yer safe from the fire.

I agree, I tried to post a pic and had gave up. Could be me and not good with tech. I mostly am on marlin at work.
The ole salt mine is still here and chugging along 13.5 years so far. I can't complain, wouldn't do any good anyhow.
Kid started college a few weeks ago and empty nesting it now. I'm enjoying it. Wife keeps driving to phoenix to see her.
Thats about the newest and greatest.

This "new" forum program is way less user-friendly.
It's maybe just me, but it's confusing and way more difficult to get around.
I've been on internet forums since 1999. This forum app is the least user-friendly I've been on.
It appears we have lots of members who do not participate much, if at all. :disturbed:
