Heads up for anyone building right now, Warn's got a pretty sweet $150 rebate program on their VR winches. I snagged a 10k for $270 which is crazy since that's less than even the harbor freight winches (which I have run plenty and also vouch for).

Yeah, that's true. I just can't personally justify the 1k+ for the equivalent US Warn winch. Some will buy their high end gear, some will buy the budget-oriented offerings. I spend local in many other places so I'm not too broken up about this purchase.
