Help with L52 Trans!!!
« on: May 11, 2022, 04:20:11 PM »
Hey guys looking for some help, I have an 81 RN38 that had an L50 before I decided to throw in an L52. The L52 worked great in the donor truck. Well I just “completed” the swap and I’m lost…when I installed the shift lever to make sure it goes in through all the gears, I found it doesn’t even want to go into any gears. It’s like completely locked. Also it seems like the shift lever housing is in the neutral position and the lever sits like it’s in neutral but it’s engaged in one of the gears. Is there some sort of method that would allow me to “reset” or adjust the shift lever housing in relation to the gears? Kinda like how you adjust the reverse pivot arm?
