I have a w56 that came out of my 86 4runner. I pulled it because the clutch disc failed catastrophically on the highway and I didn't trust it afterwards. When I pulled it I split the case and found a decent amount of brass. Everything else looked good, but I'm no expert. Its been in a Rubbermaid in my garage for a decade now and I want it gone, but I'd feel dirty sending it to scrap, the case is still good at least. Sadly, I don't even own a first gen anymore, so its of no use to me. I'm in central Wisconsin so if someone wants to come and get it or figure out the shipping they're welcome to it.
I'd have put this in the classifieds but I don't have enough posts and, frankly, I'm not going to put the effort in just to give something away.
