I’ve got an R150 trans that I picked up super cheap because the guy I got it from said he couldn’t get it to spin freely after splitting it apart to inspect it. No apparent reason for splitting other than just to look inside and inspect the gears. I’ve heard of folks bolting the case halves back to the center section without ensuring all the shift rods being properly seated. I thought this may have been the case. I’m currently stumped with a bare center section that will still only spin in neutral and 4th gear.
Any thoughts?
