Topic: 8" differential from V6 to 4Cyl set-up ?

Looking to set up a couple of 8" Differential drop-outs , They will both be going into a 4Cyl {22R} 85 Yota
Pulling them at local boneyard , one is from a 86 4x4 4cyl PU  [rear] one is from a 1990 V6 4x4 PU {rear} I know there are axle differences between the 4 & 6 cylinder 8" assemblies BUT .....
If i'm going to rebuild the "complete"diff carrier assemblies using new locker-diffs RP gears, bearings etc  "QUESTION" will the 8" drop-out from the V6 work if setting everything up for a 22R 4Cyl Truck ?
