So, I know 1 person that has had a very BAD issue with the vaccine, lost vision in his left eye. They have no clue as to whether or not he'll regain his vision. And 2 childhood companions have died of Covid AFTER receiving the vaccine. They were siblings, so chances are they're cases are the same.

Nope, I'm still not convinced this vaccine is the right route to go. Long term effects are still not realized, short term effects leave a bit to be desired. The vaccine is NOT a guarantee to immunity to the strains we've seen and any new mutations may be unaffected.

I'm not an antivaxer, there have been some very effective preventative vaccines in the past for sure! Polio, smallpox, chicken pox, etc. . Even those had their issues and evolutions.

I guess I am the last of the family to hold out.  Some got it out of necessity and some are legitimately concerned.

I am not and have never been one to go in on vaccines and currently have no desire to get this one.  I prefer to just get sick, work through it and come out the other side stronger.

Pretty sure I had it before they fully admitted it was out, anyway

Heath, were you buying that generic dollar general soda?  :haha:

The handful of people I know that have had covid, it is like a mix of very minor to no symptoms at all, and others were super sick and still haven't gotten their full range of taste back after 4-5 months.  I know I have been in the room with people prior to them testing positive. And a superintendent I was working with tested positive a day or two after we rode around for half a day from job site to job site his truck.  I have been been exposed and don't know if I ever had it.

One of our sales rep told us that he had a friend who was in his late 20's and ended up dying a couple days after getting his second shot from complications. Another guy at work apparently had a blot clot somewhere after his shot and was out of work for a little.

Awesome, our resident self proclaimed medical authority warrior (who incidentally claims to know about immunology, but is an anti-vaxxer) rides again. The blood of a healthy person is basic, with a pH of about 7.4. Please do tell about your calculation of soda being 3000x more acidic. I give you some leeway, you can use CO2 as buffer for both substances, just to make the calculation easier.
Looking forward to yours science based answer!

As you should be.

According to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System), of the Americans vaccinated between December 14th-May 24th, 4,863 have died within 30 days of receiving the wuhan vaccine. The 30 day time period is monitored for all vaccines, even those that have been being given for decades, to determine their overall safety as well as catch any issues that could have arose from errors in manufacturing.  What we are seeing with the wuhan vaccines is the difference between a vaccine that undergoes the traditional testing procedure, and one that was authorized for emergency use and under went a minimal amount of testing.  For an example of the difference, over a 16yr period, '97-'13, there were a total of 2149 deaths recorded by VAERS for all vaccines, and of those deaths, just 679 were adults, or just 42.5 adults per year, yet in just 5 months, the wuhan vaccines have recorded over 114 times as many deaths during the same 30 day period.

IMO, there are too many unknown risks with the vaccines, something that seems to also be an issue for those in the FDA, CDC, and NIH, as only half of those employed in those agencies have bothered to get the vaccines.

I kno multiple people who have been confirmed to have the covid.
one happens to be 96 with one leg and one eye, he felt fine, went to get some :pokinit: to help him with it and got sick as hell, says he would have been better to just stay home, his wife who is 94 and on oxygen had it originally and is why he got tested, she was in the hospital for 2 days.

Any discussions of vaccines and vaccine development can be very deep and wide.  The range of topics can be from safety and efficacy to side effects and religious belief.

What do you know about the vaccines that are commonly required to be administered to infants to school age children?  Here in Arizona...  DTap, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella

As one of the heavily federally funded pharmaceutical companies, has Moderna EVER developed a vaccine that has been FDA approved for use in humans?

Why has the CDC published this?

"Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine:  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommend that use of Johnson & Johnson's Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine resume in the United States, effective April 23, 2021. However, women younger than 50 years old should especially be aware of the rare risk of blood clots with low platelets after vaccination. There are other COVID-19 vaccines available for which this risk has not been seen. If you received a J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, here is what you need to know.  Read the CDC/FDA statement."

Why has there been 8 fainting events for every 100,000 doses of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine given.  By comparison, the rate of fainting after a flu vaccination in 2019-2020 was 0.05 per 100,000 doses.  They do not know why.

What is the difference between those vaccines and the COVID-19 vaccines?

Example...

Polio vaccine was developed in 1950.
Smallpox vaccine was developed in 1951.
Diphtheria vaccine was developed in 1923.
Mumps vaccine was developed in 1963.

The COVID-19 vaccines have been released for vaccination in the public under the Emergency Use Authorization after about 9 months of research and development.

In total, as of March 2021, 308 vaccine candidates are in various stages of development, with 73 in clinical research, including 24 in Phase I trials, 33 in Phase I–II trials, and 16 in Phase III development.

How many BILLIONS of dollars do you think is exchanging hands for these companies and who is paying for it?

The vaccinations schools require are still not mandatory. Noone can be compelled to accept any medical proceedure. The vaccinations that are mainstreeam have had their side effects realized and measures have been employed to curb them. The vaccines that are suggested for children have eliminated or nearly eliminated the diseases they target with near zero long term effects.

Flu vaccines change every season and Covid will as well. The whole "two ways to get immunity from Covid is to get the various or the vaccine" is bs as in the same paragraph it's mentioned how you can still catch the virus again, as a different or evolved strain.

So, now a study has shown that persons who have contracted symptomatic covid may not need the vaccine. So far the outcome is that people that have been vaccunated without previously being infected are more prone to infection than people that have developed natural immunity from being infected. A recommendation has arisen that previously infected persons should delay their vaccination to allow an uninfected person to be vaccinated. That recommendation is for regions that have limited supplies of the vaccine. It has not been determined about the effectiveness of either the natural or vaccine created immunity will have against any future mutation(s).
On that last comment, vaccines have been targetted to created immunity to specific infectious stains and have (generally) been less effective in battling newer strains than a natural immunity.
The vaccine(s) have mot proven to prevent the spread, as an infected person can still become a carrier until their immune system can suppress the invading virus completely. Which can be said about natural immunity as well.

I still believe we should all continue practicing the social distancing and wearing of the masks as well as ellevated hygiene practices. Sad to see people wearing their innoculation like a superhero's cape.

I've got my first dose of Pfizer in a clinic not far from my property in Spain about 2 weeks ago and I was feeling bad for 2 days after. Very weak, nose blocked, some temperature, thought pain and no energy. Arm was paining for 2 days. Was taking paracetamol for 2 days and it all went away. I hope after second dose I will not have the same feeling.

86...

You are probably doing yourself a huge favor.

I turn on the news in the morning briefly to see if Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Invisible Women, Captain America, or Ironman has appeared on Earth to "save the day"!

Unfortunately no super hero or heroin has arrived, so I turn the TV off during the day.

Video shows Fauci lying to Congress about funding the Wuhan lab with tax-payers money to do gain of function research!

This morning Fox News exposes the evil being taught to our young students in schools, and has been for decades.

Then.... they showed another evil.

Blood shot out of my eyes, I have brain cells spattered all over my TV!

Why would any "normal" human being want to show an abortion? :yikes:

Where is this level of insane evil coming from!!?

Am I over overreacting?
