yep lots of trails around these parts. the mtn bike community is big up here from what ive seen. it seems everyone around flagstaff is into outdoor stuff from camping, hunting, biking, hiking, ect.

Man I have been busy with bikes. Flew down to cali last year with it and rode around Chico and downieville which was rad. Just got back from Whistler. That place is epic. huge progression  was made riding super technical stuff and jumping too. Ill get some pics up shortly .

Yeah. My bike does NOT move in the rear when pedaling. Suspension is only active when coasting, like downhill.
Does yours bounce while pedaling uphill?

I used to always have an advantage over my buddies. They would be bouncing. While I was pedaling into the front.. I replaced all the bolts with titanium just to lighten it up a tad. I'm the wheelie master. If I had a buddy to keep my front rim gyrating. I could go for miles

That's not my bike but it's a solid climber. It's laid 170 mm (6.69 inch) travel bike  Mine slightly bounces if I am out of the saddle but I can lock the shock out and it's solid.suspension design has come a long way for that.  It's crazy why they can do now and the speed they go.

I had the GT Avalanche.  Hard tail.  It amazes me how long it took the designers to lower the top tube.  Nobody like smashing their goods!

I still have that bike. 20+ years later.  Easton Monkey bars, Control Tech stem, Chris King headset, White Industries bottom bracket and a Paul derailer.  The Paul has never failed once or needed adjustment.  I think I'll frame all the parts and hang them on my wall.

Paul stuff is rad. Its made in the town i grew up in. I really want one of their boxcar stems.

I had a GT Tequesta (as did my Dad and sister) in the blue and yellow racing scheme. Cool bike.

I finally picked up my HARO Double Peak IO eMTB a few weeks ago. I up-graded the forks to FOX from the Suntour set it came with.
The Kenda tires are OK but they are soft, and after 30 or so miles, the rear is going away.
Going with Maxxis when the time comes for replacement.

I like to wheelie too... but this bike is heavy in the front and the balance point is small. I've been able to do a few shorter ones but I'll get used to it.

Man I really want an e bike. I rode a Levo SL and it was so nice light too. I am waiting to see the transition relay should be a rad set up

Been wanting an ebike since it's been so hard to ride but all the local trails are off limits to them.  Seems like a good idea for bike hunting but it's a lot of coin for that

Yeah I get that. Lots more trails will open up for them soon i think. I just ordered a new bike and will order a E bike prolly next year.

Yeah turbo levo like Drew mentioned. Got a good deal on a pair of them for me and the lady. I stuck with aluminum frame, but upgraded the brakes before I even took it home.
