Picked up in 81 long bed. Installed new radiator and when I filled it up water came pouring out of the back of the engine.  several people have told me it's a frost plug but no idea how I could possibly get down in there. Only an inch or so between it and the firewall.  Any advice out there?

sounds like a freeze plug. unfortunately you gotta pull the tranny and fly wheel unless someone else know a trick I don't.

if i remember right there's 3 freeze plugs on the driver side, 2 on pass side and one on the back. i suspect the one on the back of the block is leaking.

edit: do you live some where that freezes. im guessing so since the elk in yer handle. have you been driving the truck around and the problem just started. did you run antifreeze or just water.
