Not yet they are very new still. though they look a couple years old. I am getting ready to put on the snowshoes (38 15.5 Gumbo Mudders) so I will address it then. I will take em off and fix em. It seems everything I have had someone else do to my rig has not worked good until I fixed it :reg:

How did they break?
Wow, really? I took 4 yrs off from this forum and my tag is still here?

cruzila

#32
Sorry Doc, I guess I never saw the last post

The new thing with the cruiser is the t-case has a crack in it. Marlin said when the front driveline binds it will crack the front of the case. I still need to look close at the angles etc. Now I am thinking that the revolvers had something to do with it. More to come.

OK, I figured out how the t-case broke. Any one that guesses correctly. Gets 10 free posts. BTW I CAN give you 10 posts, so if you are close to the next level............

Hints, it was done on Rubicon. No it was not the revolvers. :psss:

Ok. Some how you had way too much angle on the front and the case couldnt take the strain of a drive line pulling down on it?

Ahh yes, that is what I thought at first. I also thought I had checked the angles etc. I rechecked and at full stuff the front drivline has an inch left. At full droop it does not bind. But, when BOTH go down it can bottom out :psss: :psss: :psss: :psss: :psss: last hint hehe

Bingo, You got it  We were winching the big rocks that fell in on the trail at the top of Walker Hill. As near as I can tell when pulling real hard, the front axle wraps and the pinion goes up. It also pulls the body/chassis forward. And that is what cracked it. I did not notice it until I went down a 60 degree incline near Little Sluice. Then all the oil on the skid plate ran out on the ground  :sob:

ps I gave ya 20
