Truck Tires Allignment

I recently rebuilt the front axle on my 85 toyota truck. I have noticed that the tires are starting to angle in at the bottom.Can this problem be corrected with shims on the knuckle if so do you put them on the top or bottom? I used the old ones when I rebuilt it.I have also installed 3" over stock shackles on the front along with my 3" lift springs can this be the problem? Thanks for any help.

Just set the toe.  There is no reason for camber to change is a solid axle truck.  I'm sure your caster is way positive from the shackles but as long as its close to even on both sides it should not effect tire wear.

What is toe and how do you set it on a solid axle truck?

If your looking down at the top of your truck and the tires are pointed away from each other than it is toe'd out.  Oposite would be toe'd in.

Toe is set at the tierod ends.  You can usually get it close with a measuring tape but to be truly accurate go to an alignment shop.

toe is... well ummmm think of someone that is pigeon toed... thats toe in... and toe out is the opposite... camber is... well think of somthin vertical ''like your tire'' and when its not all the way vertical your camber is messed up... u get it???

If your looking at the front of my truck the bottom half of the tire is more in then the top half.
  Front view \ / Its like that if your looking at it from the front that is what I want to fix. Its \ / instead of  l l  like it should be.
