hey guys.  ive been a long time member of several other forums but decided to make an account here due to some issues I have with a new marlin transmission.  anyways, I have an 87 runner I picked up in cali when I was stationed in SD.  im living and working in baton rouge now, so its funny seeing peoples reactions to a non rusted out yoter down here.  the truck has undergone extensive work in the 2 years ive owned it.  I repainted it, replaced all suspension, regeared and locked it, longfields interior refresh, replaced all front end components, and much much more.  I have a build thread on yotatech called "cheap dd turned rest" in case anyone is over there also.  I would post some pictures but I don't think I have unlocked that ability yes.  cheers.

when I bought her, she was riding on the bumpstops, didn't have three square inches of paint left on it, and there were tshirts stuffed under the drivers seat to keep it up.  it was a long road to hoe.. but its given me something to do while I drink

ive always had trail beaters in the past, decided to try and make a pretty one this go round.  im not sure which one i prefer, with this one i really do get alot of compliments and head turns, but i sure do miss slamming up against a tree and not giving a damn ha.
