I have a 2nd gen tacoma with a r155f trans, i have an input shaft bearing going bad but to get to it i have to split the cases, it is a similar transmission to a r151. If i split the transmission down and find other problems which parts do the two transmissions share? Its very hard to find r155 parts and they are expensive. The service manual also mentions different thickness snap rings, where might i be able to get those parts? I cant seem to find them anywhere. Does marlin crawler sell those pieces? Im hoping i can get parts and repair my transmission as a new one is 2600$ from Toyota without labor.
