I am typically just a lurker around different forums. but i feel like the amount of knowledge on here is incredible! therefore i have joined. i have been four wheeling on and off for around 10 years now. I am a member of a north carolina club the Carolina Trail Blazers  (great club)! i am in the process of a  toyota based build.  it started out as an 80 model, rotten frame. picked up an 85 model for the frame and drive train. and along the way i picked up a 75 model sr5! long story short, i decided to build a frame, use toyota drive train and make a rolling chassis, then marry a cool old toyota cab to the chassis. i figure i'll eventually start a build thread. im not really forum savvy, so this is the difficult part for me. id rather be cutting welding and grinding!

Thank you all, I will certainly post up some pics when I can.  I am excited to be around Toyota people. I think one of my coolest rides is the '75 SR5.  Supposedly that was the first year that package was offered.  And I have the original window sticker from the dealer for it!  I may be crazy but I think that's cool!

:welcome:  2  Marlinland.  You're starting off with a good 85' driveline and body combo.  My wife had a 77' longbed that I was going to do the same thing to before some sticky fingers "borrowed" it.  Post up about 8 more times and start putting some photos on here so we can drool.

It's nothing, really. It looks like you got bit by an evil magic turtle, but it's just for fun. They bounce around your screen and you click them (no one can resist) and they're either amazing magic turtles or evil magic turtles. You can't do anything with these turtle points, and you can't take them with you when you die. So spend them wisely, and don't spend them all in once place
