Xover on a chevy Luv???

hey i got a 79 chevy LUV and i put sum 84 toyota axles on it now i cant get the steering box to work for me the arm on the box hits my tire :maddest:  :confused:  :headscratch:

donno what to do sum one HELP :crossed:

can i make a Xover for it dont have the $$$ to git one so ill have to make it
or sumthing

I don't know if it is just my computer but a lot of peoples pictures seem dark.  I adjusted this one.  You probably need to get a closer pic of the steering arms and pitman arm.

I think its your computer toyhatsu, cause that last pic is pretty light.  The first one looked normal, you could just tell it was taken at night.  I have to admit though, it doesw make stuff easier to see :thumbs:

take some pics of where you're gonna mount the box.  the arm shouldn't hit your tire!

btw, i'd love to build a toy axled luv...i think those trucks are cool as hell

you want to bey my LUV??? lol umm iv tryed and the stock 84 box arm will hit so i think i have to do sumthing like a Xover?

I dont know anything about luv frames but if you could mount an IFS box then charlie mike with the xover, by the way are you still running the pos isuzu motor? :beer:

yup i got the 1.8 with a hader and weber on it it gits it butt im thinkin of the 22R in it
i was going to us the stock chevy LUV box its just like the toyota IFS box but on the inside of the frame

 Well you could get the x over but maybe have the rod shortened a little since its on the inside and I would definatley plate the box also if your going to run anything bigger than 33s. Keep the luv because its cool to have something different
