1980 transmissions

I have 1980 4wd 5speed. reverse and 5th were sloppy andgot worse until I can no longer find them. Data plate says Model RN. L43 G1.02  A51. All the data Ive seen says the L43 was 4 speed. Guy I bought it from says tranny is stock. It looks like theres 2 nylon bushings that would wear out causing these symptoms but cant find for this year. Also wondering about the short throw shifter kits... Anyway Im trying to figure out what I need to fix it. Im really new guys so please bear with me. ANY help greatly appreciated!

Somebody has swapped an L50 or L52 5 speed in there from an '81-'83 truck.  You can improve the feel a bit with the shifter seats and HD sockets from Marlin.  That 5 speed is kind of sloppy anyway but they do help.
