Looking for some ideas on what others are running for timing setups. Been thru millions of posts but very rarely does anyone clearly state actual timing # that is working well. Currently I'm at 12*, 10lbs boost, still have vac advance and the mech adv is 'locked out'. Feels kinda sluggish on bottom till boost starts at 2800rpm. It pulls reasonable strong up to 4,500rpm. Seems like I could get a lot more timing in it. No heat or detonation issues and afr is still in the green. Using all stock ignition since I can't justify $900+ for aftermarket ign, boost sensor, retard module and fancy distributor if end result is minimal.
