Transfer case gears?
« on: Apr 06, 2005, 06:12:51 PM »
I have a 94 toyota pickup with 31 in tires on it and don't plan on going any bigger. I have a couple of questions.
1. Would it be better to go with marlins 4.7 or Advance adapter 4.0 trial tammer gears?
2. What would my top speed be in each gear? 4 lo and Hi
3. Will these gear reductions affect me in 2 wheel drive? any reduction out of 4x4?

Go with marlin's 4.70 gears.  They are stronger.  Lower gears will only effect speed in 4 low.  don't know about top speed.
