(Noob) Can anyone tell me what these 4 steel plates are for in OME lift kit?

So I just bought a new OME lift kit for my 79 pickup and it came with these 4 steel plates but I have no idea what they are for. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

Look to be a gussetsfor spring perches

If you are going to go through the trouble of welding those in. Just skip it and cut those crap stock perches off and get some new longer ones that will actually help with axle wrap and wont eventually crush on you.

Well if it requires welding then they are probably going in the trash because I don't even have a welder. I'm not quite there yet haha. One day    Thanks for the help!
