Can not wait for another fun trip. Last year was my first time on the trip and I had a lot of fun. :pokinit:, never had so many people offer me a beer when they heard my beer was buried in my 4runner. So many good people on the trail which makes the experience even better. I will be signing up as soon as it opens up again. Thanks  :turtle: for putting on such a great event. See you on the trail....... :usa:

I can't wait.  I have never done the rubicon. My son and I are  going this year.
Is there any advice on what to do to get ready in the many months till sep?

Just go over your rig and check everything, make sure all is well and get out there! You'll be fine. This is the best event you could possibly attend for a first time on the 'Con. See you there!!   :turtle:

I've been meaning to make one of these for the last couple of years. Hopefully this will be the year!

Are there minimum vehicle specs required for attending the event posted anywhere (just to see if there is anything I need to get before then)?

Yeah i'd also love to see recommended specs, upgrades, etc as well as stuff you should bring besides basic recovery gear and spare birfs haha.

My truck is not ready to run any time soon, no armor, no gearing, 32s, and a choked up motor...the hardest part would be the 850mi ride out there.

This trail is on my list when I finish my build, and this sounds like a great way to tackle it for the first time. If I can get 'er rolling in a few months should be dialed in before this. :D

This will be my first for the Con and roundup. Looking for some advice on some trails in that area. Will be spending the following week there to wheel. My plan is to hit Fordyce but beyond that, it's up in the air. Here is a list of what I was thinking on trying.

Hell hole res
Niagara rim
Slick Rick road
Dusty ershim
Swamp lake

No plans on hitting them all, but is there one I should hit over the other or any not on the list that would be better to try.

Convoy of Washington wheelers will be headed for a full week in CA, ending with the roundup. We will be hitting Fordyce, not sure yet about what else. If you are from WA or OR and are going to the roundup and want to add some more time in CA hit me up.  :phone:

Looking forward to my 2nd round up. Had a blast this past year and didn't break anything! I'll start saving my pennies for some more raffle tickets this year.

Cant wait. It will be my second one also. The first one was a blast. A lot of cool people and some really cool rigs. Marlin and his truck never disappoint. Watching it run all the power tools to fix broken parts was badass.
