Heater core valve bypass.
« on: Nov 03, 2016, 10:05:50 AM »
My heater core valve cable snapped on my 85 Toyota Pickup, and I can't Controll the valve well, I know there is a way to bypass this with a straight through connector, what do you recommend? I've heard of people using plumbing connections with valves, I'd prefer to have a valve but whatever is suggested that is better I could use.
I want maximum flow, it's getting cold here in Utah. I'll continue to do some deep searching, until then thought I'd post...
Thanks!

When I did the 3rz swap, I was having issues with heater valve placement. So I bypassed it with different heater hose. To my surprise, my heater still works, the hot to cool works. I was baffled. I just left well enough alone.
