Everything is relative...... after literally months of hot & dry, we are hoping for cloudy & rainy in the next couple days.   :gap:

I am *almost* in the same boat. Not quite as sensitive, but cannot stand any physical effort in direct sunlight, even at 60 to 70 degrees. Just takes it right out of me. From NW Oregon which may explain it some, but it got worse several years ago after I suffered heat exhaustion at work.

I like sunshine in general but my eyes get burned easy and I like to work at about 50 degrees F or less.  20s are even better for real hard work.  Most of my blood is from the north of France, the rest is Irish and German.  One of my favorite feelings/smells is a light drizzle in the fog with saw chips in my shirt and the sound of a big tree crashing to the ground.  Grew up in the Pacific North Wet so I guess I'm screwed.

It snowed 4" here yesterday afternoon.  Our last snow at this elevation was in mid-May, so that means we only had 4 months without snow this year :).

Keep your sun, I will take the 5-8" of rain in the forecast , hopefully it will put an end to the "fire season".

We have had no rain since last winter and only had 6" of the stuff fall, screw the sun and let it rain. My rig needs some mud to play in, she can't exist on rocks & dust alone.

The local Los Angeles TV weather people say we may get some showers tomorrow night into Monday morning, we need it worse than we needed the few drops that fell last year. If it does rain, my local ohv park will no doubt have the gates closed because official wussies are girly men. I'll find mud soon, it happens every year if only for a few minutes.

It has been so long since this image was taken that my rig now has lockers in both diffs, new 5" lift springs, a Marlin Crawler dual transfer case, air conditioning and set of 33" BFGs I put on the rig for gnarlier trails until I can afford the re gear and 35" tires.

Is there really global warming???

"Global temperatures the past 10,000 years were mostly warmer than today, the trend has been for cooling temperatures and not warming ones. These temperature variations were not caused by man. They were caused entirely by natural forces. There has been no measurable atmospheric global warming for over 18 years."

It's predicted to be 99 degrees F tomorrow!! :shades:
