Silly question time- my service manual is at home and I won't be there for another 4 days.
So does an 85 have a positive ground electrical system?
I am getting ready to start installing a Tekonsha P2 trailer brake controller and it requires a Tekonsha P/N 3191 if the vehicle is a positive ground.
Thanks

Thought so, thanks for the confirmation, it's 100+ miles to the parts store so I didn't want to jump into the deep end of the pool until I set the bowling ball on the bench.
Cheers

just for reference, positive grounds haven't been used in like 80 years (well except a few rare cases)

My '32 Ford pickup and my '52 Pontiac were positive ground, but I haven't seen any modern vehicles with it.  The Idea that electrons flow better that way died years ago.   :flamer:
