New guy here. Ive had a 1987 pickup for  a while and finally saved for for SAS. I have all he parts ready to put on but I want to run 35's on it. I currently have 4.10 gearing but want to run 4.88. question is, if I get the Ring and pinion for thee 8' housing, is that all I need to convert my 4.10 gearing to 4.88 or what else would have tp be done? It's a 4cyl 5speed. Thanks in advance!

You'll need a master install kit and all the tools required to build the diff if you are talking about doing it yourself.

Parts are the easy part, the teardown and rebuild is a pain.Going to tear my front end down tonight, smacked front  pinion on last trip think I broke a bearing.Anyway it's at least a two beer job!,So enjoy the time in garage
