Idle air control question
« on: Jan 21, 2016, 08:46:01 PM »
Howdy all. I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 5.2 liter engine. For the past year I have been having a lot of trouble with the idle air control on the front of the carb. Problem is that it keeps going out every few months causing the engine to start and stop. I've replaced it several times and know this is far from normal. It's out again today. Love the Jeep but hate this problem!!
Would anyone have a clue as to why it would keep going out, I've take it to a shop and they have no ideas.
I think there is something else in the system that needs replacing but have no idea what it would be.
Any help would be great, thanks.

THK Matt

Cheap aftermarket parts made one after the other.  :pokinit:
Or a ground issue. Voltage drop the ground circuits.  :therethere:
