Can I keep my smog with a Weber 32/36??

I'm trying to install a Weber carb i got but all the forum online show people removing their smog. Can I keep my smog with this carb?

No you will not!  Webers get rid of everything but the breather line from your PCV.  Which isn't an issue if you don't have to smog or go thru a visual at a ref shop.

Yes you can!  There used to be smog legal and off-road kits.  My 80 has a 32/36 dgav that passed smog.

So if I have the carb do I just buy a kit?? I not that good with carbs

I thought that in CA that you couldn't run a Weber, because it didn't pass the visual inspection?   :headscratch:

In AZ I need to smog it every 2 years but the guy I bought it off said his rig passed with flying colors. I thought it seemed strange that the weber only has like 1 vacuum hose

You just need to buy the adapters to run the oe air cleaner assembly, jet accordingly (don't ask me what jets, been too long) and keep all the other smog stuff in play.  I never took a pic of mine set to smog, it was changed right after.
