Back up your Iphones before doing the new updates.  Some of my friends phones have even crashed, and or been rendered completely useless.  So, make sure everything is saved to your computer or cloud, what ever your using.

On a side note Campfire Girl was having an issue with her iphone5 so we warrantied it, when I got the new phone I upgraded it to IOS 8 since I could have sent it back for not working. The result was it works just fine. There are a few things to figure out, some people report that their pictures get deleted in the upgrade but they are actually just moved around into a date taken folder instead of a random file. There were also a few other changes that didn't affect any operation of the phone. Now I have an iphone 4S since I get all the hand-me-downs and Rocks For Brains is getting an iphone6 so I will wait until I have a spare iphone before I try the iphone4s. Also Rocks For Brains has a iphone 5S and he has also upgraded it to IOS 8 and has no problems. Oh and don't try to charge your iphone6 in the microwave it doesn't work.
