Quick ? on T-case
« on: Mar 22, 2005, 08:03:58 PM »
i got a top shift t-case from a friend for my future dual case setup, and i am confused on what it came out of or if it will work for a rear case, both shift rods stick out of the front of the case about 1/2" to an inch if they are shifted, is this going to be a problem when i go to bolt it up to a mc07?

That is a late model topshifting t/case from an EFI 4cyl (1985-1988). It will work just fine. The Instructions say to shift the t/case into 4WD/HI and trim 1/2" off of the drivers side shift rod that will protrude out past the front of the reduction housing. No other modifications are needed.
