Does anyone know if the hub gear in the auto hubs are the same as the manual hubs?

I don't think so, I believe you'll need a complete manual hub, plus it's not a straight swap there will be parts of the auto hub that need to be removed from the shafts in order to make the manuals fit. Here's an article on what you need to do for the swap.....

Autohubs are junk they are clutch operated and unlock in reverse turning your 4x4 into a 4x2 when backing up.

 Ok thanks guys i just got a set of auto hubs on a truck and some ifs hubs laying around wondered if i could make a set of manual hubs work on it but looks like ill have yo find some hubs then. Thanks for all yhe input

Get Bobby's hub gear and you can put an IFS hub on a straight axle hub body.
