The shift seat bushing is a great mod, I put one in my 85 truck!  OME makes great suspension parts!

I would suggest a selectable locker for the rear to maximize capability.  From my experience, one locker equals two limit slips, this means that one limited slip isn't worth much.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Moab Tested & Rubicon Approved

Thought I would share my latest upgrade, while I know it's not hardcore I was excited as xmas to have it done. I had Redding Line X do a spray in bedliner they even did the outer fender innards, hope this will prevent my bed from suffering the dreaded bed rot. Total price $400. I lost two of the side panel bolts somewhere  :rivers: So I'm considering replacing alll the bolts with stainless steel pan head allens

BTW I highly recommend Redding Line X

Nice 85. I had wanted to keep my 85 Runner close to stock and I managed that for about a year and a half but then one day I found my wallet close to empty and a heap of parts stacked up in the garage, and well, the rest is history
