So I ended up Running the "type 2" pump. It works the same, but I had to get a few feet of fuel line and rerun two of three lines. Wasn't a problem, but not exactly a bolt on part. The two lines I replaced needed to be about 2 inches longer and loop around underneath the pump, where the old co figuration the lines ran more direct.
But the truck runs fine, not too rich or anything(which was a possible concern of mine). Other than the shape of the fuel connections, both fuel pump types appear to opperate identically
