Topic: Who's tried to take their crawler through the car wash?

I tried once, the manager came out and ripped me a new one for even owning "such a ridiculous hunk of metal"

Had the same thing happen and i usally put xtra money in and spray all mud off walls and to the center of bay...came back later that night and coated walls with mud didnt even try to clean the bay. Pissd me off im paying for it should be able to use on what ever i want

Yeah I use that one too but I tried taking mine through the automatic car wash

I took mine through the auto wash once. They didn't say anything but my truck wouldn't trip the sensor to start the wash so I had to go through twice and my stinger screwed it up so my hood didn't get washed and it broke the clips on the back of my antenna mount. So yeah not doing that again.

min has about an inch clearence when i use lube and gos car wash in atascadero ca no one got mad or anything

They initially got mad at me for the stinger, then for the big tires, then the rear bumper and of course the CB antennae

We used to use the you power wash splash and dashes, after doing some serious mudding.  I don't normally wash my truck, but when there is a couple hundred pounds of mud packed in your wheel wells, frame and bumpers.  Usually we would end up plugging up the drain.

yea they dont like the mud.... those washes are meant for cars guys lol.....  clean cars compared to most our trucks/crawlers...
