nothing wrong with a waggy d44 make sure it has a driverside diff and the common gear for both the waggy d44 and yota axle is 488s
not trying to be mean but if your asking if a 3link can be driven everyday you probably don't need one and you don't have the knowledge of getting the geometry right to make it handle well on the road. there is a lot of info about tacoma/3rd gen 4runner sas with d44 waggy just start reading every thread on it. after a couple weeks you'll have a better idea of what you'll have to do.
So im going to start looking for a dana 44. What is the difference between a regular 44 and a reverse 44?
