Topic: 20R carb help needed

Im pretty sure its the carb anyway . the truck idles pretty good but from an idle if i give it gas VERY slowly thers a spot where the engine stubles and somtimes dies.  second this truck has 5.29's and 33's and it still wont maintain speed on a hill. also im going  through alot of gas. something is up. Any suggestions ?

Sounds like a fuel pressure issue, have you checked that? If you have an open somewhere in the fuel system you'll have driveability issues and could possibly lose some fuel from evaporation.

Replace the fuel filter and if that doesn't work try rebuilding the carb...

I rebuilt mine and it runs way better.
