Gas tank turned sideways?

Is anybody running thier gas tank side ways, or are there any adverse sloshing effects?

Yup, the tank in my 90 is turned sideways behind the axle and Ive had absolutely no issues at all.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I run an 11 gal spun alum tank and no issues as well in any position..

I have not had any problems with my tank turned sideways.

I took a Tacoma tank cut it down and then stuck it side ways, and its all good

I turned mine sideways right behind the cab. Seems to work real good

Mike Id like to see someone hit me hard enough to get to the tank.  Theres a good 8" between the 3 1/2" square tube that is welded to the frame and plated to hell and back.  The shackles mount to that tube and beings the springs are inboarded it really helps to protect the tank from rocks too.
