22r heater hoses
« on: Aug 30, 2010, 07:26:41 AM »
Well I've done some searching and cant seem to find anything that helps...So here goes, Ive got a 82 22r with a offy intake with water block plate. I still want to have a heater so I ran the usual hose that comes from the lower radiator hose to the heater core and thru the heater valve and back out to the left side of engine to back of the water pump(red arrows). My problem is im not getting any flow through the heater core. Should I just put the block off plate back on the back of the water pump(yellow box) and attach the heater hose somewhere on the intake or what???(red box)???
Any help please.

Got it done. went thru the plug on the intake and put the block plate back on back of timing housing.
