T-100 Suspension lifts, the good/bad?
« on: Aug 06, 2010, 10:40:32 AM »
Posting this for a friend, he's got a T-100 that he wants to put a suspension lift on. Nothing major it's a mall cruiser but he wants to fit a larger tire.

So anyone have any experience with pre manufactured lifts for the T-100?  Any brands you would steer clear from?

TIA.

he's probably going to go with 33's but i doubt it'll fit without some rubbing.

i'm not asking what SIZE lift, i'm asking about specific brands.

255/85/16  33" will fit stock (if you have stock 16" rims). Take the mud flaps off and trim the plastic a little.

For a lift, run the 1.5" ball joint spacers (86-95 trucks/4runners) up front (SDORI, Toytec). Rear, either AAL or a 5.5"-6" shackle (stock is 4.5"). A standard "wide" shackle kit will fit, but you have to use extra spacers, as they aren't straight shackles, they are narrow on one end.
